After a 25-year tenure with the Central Reserve Police Force, Ashok shifted his focus to volunteering for social causes. He worked as a solid waste management (SWM) volunteer at Harohalli for four years after which he worked as a SWM supervisor at Hasirudala Innovations. Ashok joined TAICT as a field coordinator with a specific role to assist a gram panchayat in monitoring SWM violations. His discipline and dedication has earned him respect not only from his team but also from the various stakeholders at the gram panchayat.
